Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and ReRoof Watch, a sole proprietorship operated by Justin Elder in Lebanon, Tennessee ("ReRoof Watch", "we", "us"). By using reroofwatch.com or subscribing to our reports, you agree to them. Questions: [email protected]. Mailing address: ReRoof Watch, 328 Raines Ct, Lebanon, TN 37087.
What we provide
ReRoof Watch publishes reports and CSV files that filter and organize building-permit records for roofing-related work in certain U.S. cities. Paid plans deliver those reports by email on the schedule shown on the pricing section of our site (weekly or weekday), for the metro you choose.
Where the data comes from
The permit records come from public government open-data portals run by the cities of Dallas, Orlando, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. We do not create the records. We filter, classify, and format them. Each city decides what it publishes and when, so records can be late, incomplete, corrected, or removed. Our roofing classification for some permits uses keyword rules and can be wrong. Individual portals may have their own terms of use, which still apply to the underlying data. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any city or government agency.
No guarantee of results
Reports are informational. We do not guarantee that any permit, address, or contractor is accurate, current, or available as a job, that a lead will become a sale, or that you will earn any amount of revenue. Many permits are pulled by a contractor who already has the job. Please verify details with the city before relying on them. Our reports are not legal, insurance, or sales advice.
Your use of the reports
- You may use the reports for your own business, including for marketing and canvassing, and you are responsible for following the laws that apply to that, such as telemarketing, text-message, email, do-not-call, and door-to-door solicitation rules.
- Don't resell or republish the paid reports or CSV files in bulk, or share your subscription with other companies, without our written permission.
- Don't misuse our site, try to break or overload it, or use it to harass anyone.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Plans are monthly subscriptions billed in U.S. dollars through Stripe. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel.
- Cancel any time. Cancel through the Stripe customer portal or by emailing [email protected]. If you cancel, you keep access through the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Prices on our site are launch prices and may change. A price change applies only to new subscribers or to your next billing period after we give you at least 30 days' notice by email.
Refund policy
- Your first month is refundable if you ask within 7 days of your first payment. Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with.
- After that, we do not refund partial months. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
- If we fail to deliver a report we promised, tell us, and we'll fix it or make it right.
Free sample reports
The free samples are abridged and have street numbers masked. They are provided as-is to show what the product looks like.
Our responsibility
We work to keep the service running and accurate, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.
Changes and ending the service
We may update these terms; the date above will change, and for subscribers we'll email any material change. We may stop or change the service, and if we end a paid plan, we'll refund the unused part of your current month. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
